In Lyon, the artists take over the courtyard of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs with Work n°065: Choplifting, a large structure usually used for temporary billboards. The title refers to an exercise combining self-defense (cutting) and bodybuilding (lifting). In this work, a bungee cord, invented by a German bodybuilder at the end of the 19th century, stretches a disproportionately small tarpaulin reproducing a tense face. Halfway between sculpture and image, the tension to which the tarpaulin is subjected seems paradoxical, excessive and redundant.
