"Après l'école" is the result of a partnership between artpress, a contemporary art magazine focused on young artists, the École supérieure d'art et design de Saint-Étienne (ESADSE) and the Musée d'art moderne et contemporain. The first edition of this biennial brings together 36 artists who have recently graduated from French art schools and are already engaged in an artistic career. A selection committee chose them from 150 submissions from 39 public art schools.

Three new artworks of My-Lan Hoang-Thuy will be presented during this Biennale.
