Galerie Derouillon is pleased to present the first solo exhibition of the Chinese artist Shuo Hao "Hot Blood, Cold Blood" at Hôtel Cromot du Bourg.
This exhibition brings together a selection of works from the Noah's Ark and Transfusion series in which the artist explores an animality in permanent metamorphosis. The soft colors of the different mediums (vaporous pastels, oil on wood or canvas) deepen the contrast with the strangeness of the scenes representing animals entangled in each other, in prey to a ferocious mouth or connected to a human limb by the net of blood of a transfusion in progress.
